Microblading and permanent makeup for the brows....

Perfect eyebrows designed for you.

There are many different methods and techniques for eyebrows to ensure you achieve the results you are after.

Natural looking hair strokes or a soft powdered look can be achieved from both micropigmentation (permanent makeup) or microblading methods.

For this reason, Stephanie allows time for consultation and assessment in your initial appointment to discuss options available to you and help you decide on the right technique for your perfect eyebrows.

Whether working with your existing eyebrow shape or helping you reshape a new eyebrow design, the end result will be exactly what you want.

What is the difference between Microblading and permanent makeup?

MICROBLADING (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, compared to the traditional hairstroke (feathering) technique of micropigmentation.

It is done using a manual tool with tiny pin like needles (not an actual blade), to implant pigment into the epidermis. This results in crisp, fine lines that resemble natural hair patterns.

Because we are working only in the epidermis, this technique of tattooing will not last as long as traditional micropigmentation method. It is designed to last only 1-2 years but may last longer or shorter depending on the individual.

Specially formulated pigments are chosen to match your original brow hair color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are natural, fuller looking eyebrows.

PERMANENT MAKEUP/MICROPIGMENTATION is also a semi-permanent tattoo for eyebrows and eyeliners. It will not last forever like a traditional body tattoo but depending on the depth of colour, technique used, and individual skin type, it can last for years.

There are a number of techniques available for eyebrow micropigmentation including, Nano brow, Ombre brow, Full shaded brow or Fusion brow. The technique is chosen after consultation and is based on individual needs and skin type.

The tattoo is done using a specialized machine and individually packaged, sterile, disposable needles. Pigments are formulated and blended to suit individual skin types to achieve the desired result.

Micropigmentation can look natural and soft when done using the correct pigments and method for the individual.

* Most procedures for both microblading and permanent makeup will require 1 touch up, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment. The touch up can be done after 6 weeks.

Microblading is not designed to last long term it is recommended to have a touch up once a year to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

Trending brow techniques.

Nano (feathered) brow

Very fine hair strokes using a micropigmentation machine and Nano needle.

A nano needle is a single needle much smaller than a traditional permanent makeup needle. The very tip of the needle is dipped into the pigment and the vibration pulls the pigment down into the cartridge. It is then dispensed gradually from the needle into the skin to create flawless hair strokes and a beautiful, natural looking brow. Hair strokes implanted with the Nano Brow needle last longer than microblading.

Ombré or powdered brow.

Ombré brows are a lighter shading towards the centre of the face.

This effect can be created using a number of different methods for natural looking, shaded eyebrows. Pigment is placed in the skin darker on the tail ends of the brows and gradually becomes lighter towards the centre.

Soft Powdered Brows have a full shade that mimicks the look of soft powder makeup behind the brow hairs.

This effect is great for people who use pencil or powder to create a fullness to their brows. It is not a heavy tattoo but a soft shaded result.

Combo Brow

A combination of hair strokes and soft powdered shading to create a fuller looking brow.

There is a number of ways to create this look and this can be done with microblading or a micropigmention machine. The procedure begins with the hairstrokes being applied in the desired pattern and then a lighter and diluted pigment is added to fill in behind the hair strokes to create a soft shaded effect.
